Broad fibre merino/corriedale carded batts, about 26 micron. Undyed. Contain some vegetable matter. Approx 360 gsm(grams per square metre). Can be peeled into mulit layers or stretched if a thinner batt is required. Ideal for school groups and projects that need to create a thick, strong felt eg linings for bags, slippers, rugs and ..........tents. Mongolian tribes for centuries have felted their own portable yurts(tents).

These batts are also great to use as a base to needle felt either 2d or 3d projects.

We sell these batts in two sizes: smalls(approximately one square metre) and large(approximately 2 metres by 2.1metres).

They are available in four natural-coloured wool varieties: top to bottom: pepper: white; mist; cinnamon.
