Felbi Design Sets

Shapes cut out of Felbi prefelts to use in your felt designing.  There are flowers, rings, circles  and bent tear drops.

Felbi design shapes can be felted onto  Felbi bases,  Divine Wooltops bases or on top of fabrics .  As always with fabrics and nuno, there needs to be some sampling to test what fabrics and wool fibres will integrate together by felting.

Use your imagination and combine shapes from different sets to create a paisley design! 

The scarf pictured was felted using about half of a black pearl  Felbi plank with a cotton print fabric down the centre.  A thin strip of black pearl Felbi was placed around the perimeter of the cotton fabric. Turkish red Felbi Design shapes in the form of  circles were placed strategically on top of the cotton fabric to add visual interest.  Three black Felbi design rings were placed at each end of the scarf to create a decorative border.  The piece was hand felted and then finished off in a front loading washing machine(see "how to felt" instructions link on the home page).
